I love telling stories. As a child, I moved all over the country, only seeing extended family every once in a while. When we did get together, my favorite part of the visit was wandering around their houses, admiring old photos displayed on the walls or tucked into photo albums. I loved to ask questions, pulling stories out of my relatives left and right. I learned so much about their lives this way and, in turn, learned more about myself.
Learning how to tell my own story helped me discover painting, writing, and, of course, photography. I embraced the arts wholeheartedly, developing my skills through higher education with a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a Master’s of Fine Arts from Chatham University.
Now, that education and passion has become an amazing business.
